The first time I stepped out of my comfort zone, was when I went on the Zipper. Now, if you don't know what this is, it's basically a ride. Where you sit in a cage type thing and the cage spins, turns, and puts you upside down sometimes. For, the longest time I told myself I'm never going on that thing, but eventually two of my soccer teammates persuaded me and we went on it together. (Mia & Janae) I was so scared, but I survived and actually had fun. I proved to myself I could do it again and that's just what I did, but a year later when it came back.
The second time I stepped out of my comfort zone was when I went to Disneyland and went on a full on big roller coaster for the first time. Kaua'i doesn't have many big roller coasters or really none at all. My dad really wanted to go on the one there, but nobody wanted to go on it with him. So, I decided to go on it with him because I said to myself, it's not like you're going to get to go on it again. I started freaking out in line, but I still went on it and has a blast. I proved to myself I could ride big roller coasters because after I went that first time, my dad and I ended up riding it 3 or 4 times in a row.
The third time I stepped out of my comfort zone was when I took singing lessons on Guam, when I was staying there. My whole mom's side of the family lives there, so we go up there normally 2 times a year, but at the most 3. Anyways, while we were there my grandma signed me up for these singing lessons, I was kind of interested and not at the same time, but I still went anyways. I was really scared at first, but the girl who was teaching me was very nice and I got through the first lesson. After I didn't think it was the thing for me, so I didn't go after. I proved to myself I had at least some confidence because I was forced to sing in front of a stranger and I'm not very good at it.
In conclusion, 3 times I've stepped out of my comfort zone was when I went on the Zipper, my first big roller coaster, and when I took singing lessons for one time. I hope you enjoyed. Bye!
